My name is Carson Miller and I go to Northridge Middle School in Indiana as a eighth grader.  I like to take pictures and mess around with electronics.  I was born on August 22, 2000 in Indiana. Growing up, I loved computers and figuring out how they worked.  At age 10, I got my very first computer for Christmas and I started using it for smaller things. It wasn't until then that I found out that I really loved computers and cameras.  

 

When I turned 13, I got my very first iPhone and I found that I loved photography. My very first pictures were not that good as they were taken with my phone camera.  But then around March in 2014, I got my first "real" camera.  The camera was a Sony DSC-QX100.  I started taking many pictures and after my parents saw the work I was doing, I got a DSLR.

 

Canon Rebel SL1.  Thats the camera, I got it for Christmas 2014 and I absolutely love it.  The pictures that I take now I use my Canon for the pictures.  You may be asking, "What do you even do with the pictures anyway?"  Well, I mainly post them to my Instagram account which I use a lot and then I sometimes even edit them.

 

For Christmas 2014, I got parts to make my own very first computer.  This computer was a big challenge at first because what I made is a 'Hackintosh'.  A Hackintosh is basically a computer made to run Apple OSX such as Yosemite or Mavericks.  The problem with doing this is that not all computer parts are compatable to do this and so I had to buy special parts to do this.  That, was the easy part.  The hard part was getting the software working on my Hackintosh.  But, in the end I got it working and I now do mostly all my video editing and photo editing with Photoshop on that computer.
